The Upper East Side location opened March 2025 to strong buzz. Highlights include the signature suspended Flotarium — a visually dramatic saltwater bath with a glowing glass floor. The space honors the historic building's bones with vaulted ceilings while delivering AIRE's signature candlelit intimacy. More accessible than Tribeca with slightly lower entry pricing at $150.

About AIRE Ancient Baths New York
AIRE Ancient Baths New York Upper East Side is the brand's second Manhattan location, opened March 1, 2025 at 305 East 61st Street. Housed in a landmark 1900 building that once stored priceless artworks for MoMA, the 9,600-square-foot space spans three floors with vaulted ceilings and loft-style architecture. It brings the same ancient bathing ritual that made the Tribeca location a NYC institution, with a few new signature touches exclusive to this outpost. The thermal circuit includes six pools: Caldarium (hot bath, 104°F), two Tepidarium warm baths (97°F), Frigidarium (ice bath, 50°F), Balneum (jet hydrotherapy bath), and the signature suspended Flotarium — a saltwater bath with translucent glass walls and a glass floor that glows blue, appearing to hover between two floors. This Flotarium is a first for the AIRE brand globally. Two marble exfoliation beds, eucalyptus steam areas, and 12 massage beds across multiple treatment rooms round out the facility. Pricing starts at $150 per person for the 90-minute thermal bath experience. Massages and body rituals start at $255 per person, including the exclusive Signature Monet Experience — an aromatherapy, full-body exfoliation, body wrap, and massage inspired by Claude Monet's Water Lilies. Couples experiences are also available. The spa is open daily, with extended hours on Friday and Saturday. Advance booking is required. Minimum age is 18. Bathing suits are mandatory and cell phones are prohibited during sessions.
