Ambitious Athletics is a private strength, conditioning, and recovery facility in downtown Washington DC, located at 1100 17th Street NW (Suite B12), with the entrance on L Street beside Joe and the Juice. The Recovery Room is a private suite available by appointment to both members and non-members, featuring a cold plunge (~51 degrees F), hot tub (~104 degrees F), and full-spectrum infrared sauna (up to ~170 degrees F). Sessions are bookable in 15, 30, 45, 60, or 75-minute blocks. First-timers are encouraged to book 45 minutes to learn the flow. The recommended sequence is hot tub, cold plunge, sauna, repeat. Up to two guests can share the room; the companion does not pay but must complete a waiver. Towels and shower access are included. Beyond recovery, Ambitious Athletics offers small group strength and conditioning (capped at 12), personal training, nutrition coaching, physical therapy through MOVEMENTx, InBody body composition analysis, and Ambitious Medical for physician-guided lab work.
